Reserved vs available split

Parts earmarked to pending work orders drop out of available immediately. Two concurrent jobs cannot over-allocate the same seal.

Central warehouse, line-side kits, vendor cages, mobile trucks. Each store has its own minimum and maximum per part.

Rack and shelf locations

Every stock record holds a rack and shelf (ex: A3 Shelf 2). A new tech finds the part without hunting down the keeper.

Serialized or quantity tracked

Choose per part. Serialized parts carry condition (new, refurb, damaged) so a rebuilt bearing does not end up in the new bin.

Min / max auto-alerts

Drops below minimum: surfaces on the reorder board and pushes to the store owner. Max caps prevent panicked over-ordering.

Work-order-linked consumption

A tech picks a part from the WO sign-off flow. Consumption posts to the store, the WO cost ledger, and the asset cost ledger in one transaction.

Preferred vendor and lead time per part

Each part has a preferred vendor, price, and lead time. Dovient suggests the right reorder quantity based on usage velocity and the lead time you face.

Usage analytics and demand forecast

See the top ten consumed parts by asset, by line, and by week. Feed the forecast into min / max tuning.

Transfer between stores

A one-line entry moves stock from store A to store B. Both sides update, the audit trail is written, and the mobile tech sees it live.
